HOW TO ORDER

To place an order, simply send us an email with your photos attached and a brief description of what you would like done to: daddyoproductions@hotmail.com. Once we receive your email, we will reply and clarify any details at that time.

Please feel free to contact us anytime regarding your photo enhancement needs. Before sending off your inquiry or placing an order, be sure to read our Frequently Asked Questions section below. If you do not receive a reply to your question within 24 hours, it is likely because we haven't received it. Please recheck the email address and resend.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does your service work?
Daddyo Productions provides professional touchups to photographs in print or digital format. All you need to do is email your original photos with a brief explanation of what you would like done, and we'll do the rest. Next, we'll send you some watermarked proofs for your approval. Once you are happy with the proofs, we will send you an invoice with the final total. Once we receive your payment, we will send you the final high resolution digital photo(s) via email. You would then get your photos printed at your local print shop.

How do I email my photo(s)?
Please send us the photo in the original format, without cropping, resizing, or touchups. When you save the photo(s), always save them in the largest format possible. You can email them as attachments, but please select the "attach as file" option if using Hotmail, as this will not compress the photo and won't affect the quality. Please do not send photos that are from online sources such as Facebook. These files are compressed and are not useable.

Do/Can you print the photos and ship them through the mail?
     Daddyo Productions does not currently provide this service. If you are worried about how you are going to get your pictures printed, we can put your finished pictures on a CD which you can then bring to your local print shop. They will be able to print your pictures from the CD you bring them. We charge an extra $6.00 for this service (covers the cost of the CD and shipping).

How long will it take for my project to be finished?
     We aim to have proofs ready for your approval within 7 days. We do experience a high volume of orders during the Christmas season. You should allow for extra time if your project is required for a Christmas gift.

How and when do I pay for my project?
     Once you have approved the final low resolution proof(s) for your project, we will request payment before we email you the high resolution photos.
     Our preferred method of payment is Paypal. You may send payment through Paypal to daddyo_dist@hotmail.com or we will send you an invoice for payment. We do accept email money transfer (Canadian clients only), cheque, or money order. Please note that projects will not be emailed until cheques clear the bank. *Deposits may be requested for larger orders*

How and where do I get my project printed?
     At this time, Daddyo Productions does not print photos. We do suggest that you choose a quality photo shop; your memories are worth the extra money. Please always use a one hour or longer service; "print in seconds" machines are convenient, but they are not suitable for framing since they are little better than colour photocopies and fade quickly.

How do I scan my photo(s)?
     When scanning photos it is best to use the highest resolution possible. Photos need to be scanned at 300 dpi to ensure quality touchups. Please be sure to highlight or select the photo before you click 'scan'. You may have to reset the resolution on your scanner, since most scanners default to a low resolution for document printing. Look under options in your scanner program for the resolution settings.

Do you retouch professional photos?
     Professional photos have copyrights that can last 50 years. You are responsible for obtaining a release from the photographer or studio to have your photos retouched. If you send us professional photos, it is assumed you have obtained this permission. Daddyo Productions accepts no responsibility for copyright infringement.

Can you fix blurry photos?
     No. However, depending on the level of blur, we may be able to sharpen or disguise the blur so that you may display the photo. This usually means sharpening, and/or adding colour or softening effects.

Is there anything you can't or won't do?
      At Daddyo Productions, our goal is a happy customer and we will attempt any project and work with you until you approve the results. We do reserve the right to refuse projects that portray offensive or unlawful content.
